Privacy policy

Summary: this site does not use cookies and does not ask for any data to be read. We count visits without identifying you, and we only process your email address if you write to us or join a list.

Last updated: October 2026.

Controller

The data controller is Seetrex, part of wowinX, owner of SEEQuant and of seequant.app, including the Syndrome application (seequant.app/syndrome/). For any privacy question: info@seequant.app.

Analytics: Umami Cloud, without cookies

To learn which pages are visited we use Umami Cloud. It does not set cookies or persistent identifiers in your browser and does not store personal data. For each page view it records the address of the page, including its query parameters (what follows “?”, for example those of a campaign) but not the fragment (what follows “#”); the page title; the address of the page you came from (the referrer, as your browser sends it, also with its query parameters); the language, the screen size, the type of device and the country. It also records a few anonymous events (for example, that a tool was opened).

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in knowing which parts of the site are used, in order to improve them. Umami keeps these statistics for six months.

Forms

The interest list and the feedback form belong to this site, with no third-party form service: what you send reaches the site itself and is stored in its database.

Email

If you write to info@seequant.app, we use your address and your message only to reply to you. Email reaches us through Cloudflare’s forwarding service, in the site owner’s mailbox, hosted by OVH SAS (France, EU). How long: as long as needed to reply to you and at most 12 months from the last exchange.

Hosting

The site is served through Cloudflare, which technically processes the IP address of each request in order to deliver the pages and protect them from abuse.

International transfers

Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc.) and Umami (Umami Software, Inc.) are United States companies, so what they process for us (Cloudflare, delivering the pages, forwarding email and the forms database with its notice; Umami, the statistics) may involve an international transfer of data, even when the data is stored in the European Union. Cloudflare, Inc. participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (DPF) and its data processing agreement also incorporates the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. OVH, which hosts the site owner’s mailbox (the notices and the email to info@), is in the European Union: there is no transfer there. To find out which safeguard Umami applies to that transfer, write to info@seequant.app.

Your browser’s local storage

The site does not use cookies. It stores in your browser’s localStorage only preferences that you choose, which never leave your device and which you can delete from your browser settings:

Key What for
seequant.language The language you choose with the language switcher.

Syndrome shares its address with this site (seequant.app/syndrome/), so its storage also belongs to this site. It stores:

Key What for
syndrome.language The application’s language.
syndrome.theme The light, dark or automatic theme.
syndrome.model The chosen noise model.
syndrome.challenge Your challenge mode record: best score, streak, and puzzles played and solved.
syndrome.challenge.open The puzzle in progress, so that reloading the page counts as giving it up.
syndrome.spacetime.view, syndrome.spacetime.gap The preferences of the space-time viewer.

Syndrome also keeps its own files in the browser cache so that it works offline. None of this is sent to anyone. You choose the preferences, and the rest (your record, the puzzle in progress and the offline copy) is needed to provide the service you ask for, so all of it is exempt from consent under art. 22.2 of the LSSI and the AEPD’s Guide on the use of cookies.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, its rectification or erasure, object to its processing or ask for its restriction or portability, and withdraw your consent at any time, by writing to info@seequant.app. If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).

Changes

If what we do with data changes, we will update this page and its date.
